Joining the Linkages Committee is a wonderful opportunity to connect with professionals and families throughout Westchester County while helping to organize an impactful annual event. This fair has become a significant occasion for attendees, attracting over 300 guests each year.

Overview of Committee Member Commitment:

Committee members take on various roles and responsibilities tailored to their strengths and preferences, with these duties typically fulfilled in the months leading up to the annual event. Throughout the year, the committee meets virtually around eight times, with each meeting lasting approximately one hour. It's important to note that being a committee member requires additional effort and time beyond these meetings, and specific responsibilities may vary depending on the assigned role. Committee members are also expected to assist on the day of the Annual Vendor Fair.

We are seeking volunteers for the 20th Annual Transition Linkages Vendor Fair, which will take place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY. This event offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in your community while networking and meeting new people.

There are a variety of volunteer roles available based on your preferences and skill set. Some of the roles include:

• Assisting with setup and cleanup

• Assisting with vendor arrivals

• Greeting and directing guests

• Managing registration and check-in

• Providing information to event attendees

• Translating for guests
